Bellator officials have announced plans for the Spike TV main card for Bellator 123 to air in hour earlier than normal.

The event, set for September 5 and opposite the UFC on FOX Sports 1, will start at 8 p.m. ET. Typically, and in the weeks to follow, Bellator main cards start at 9 p.m. ET.

“MMA fans know that Friday nights are all about great Bellator action on Spike,” said Scott Coker, Bellator president. “We have a huge night planned for September 5, and wanted to give fans an opportunity to enjoy what should be a very fun night in Connecticut from Mohegan Sun Casino.”

The card features a main event between featherweight champion Pat Curran and challenger Patricio “Pitbull” Freire. Also, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal returns, along with Bobby Lashley.
