Officials have signed a main event for the October return to Sweden, pairing welterweights Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story for the headline fight at UFC Fight Night 53.

Set for the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, the entire card is expected to stream live on UFC Fight Pass.

Nelson (13-0-1) is from Iceland so he will be competing near his home country once again. In fact, all four of his previous Octagon fights have come on foreign soil, including a recent second round submission victory over Zak Cummings.

Nelson earned a submission win over Omari Akhmedov in March after a decision over Jorge Santiago last year. He opened his UFC career with a 2012 submission of DaMarques Johnson.

Story (17-8) has alternated wins and losses in his last eight fights, including a July second round submission win vs. Leonardo Mafra. In March, he lost via split decision to former Ultimate Fighter winner Kelvin Gastelum.

Back in 2010, Story scored a decision win over current UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks during a six-fight win streak.

Also, there are reports that Amir Sadollah will be removed from the card and inserted into a UFC Fight Night 52 contest with Yoshihiro Akiyama. For now, he remains on the docket to face Nico Musoke.
