The return of Cat Zingano will come this September, as the No. 1 contender takes on Amanda Nunes at UFC 178.

Set for September 27 from Las Vegas, the event features a rematch between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson.

Zingano (8-0) earned a win over Miesha Tate last year in her Octagon debut, scoring a title shot against Ronda Rousey and a spot as coach on The Ultimate Fighter. However, a serious knee injury in training that resulted in surgery knocked “Alpha” to the bench for almost a year.

Nunes (9-3) has picked up two straight wins since signing with the UFC, defeating Sheila Gaff and Germaine de Randamie.

The card will also feature the return of former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, as he takes on Takeya Mizugaki.

Below is the current lineup:

UFC Light Heavyweight Championship
Jon Jones (c) vs. Alexander Gustafsson

Bantamweight: Dominick Cruz vs. Takeya Mizugaki

Middleweight: Tim Kennedy vs. Yoel Romero

Female Bantamweight: Cat Zingano vs. Amanda Nunes
