David Branch and Rick Glenn became champions Saturday night at World Series of Fighting 10, as Branch became the first middleweight champion and Glenn won the featherweight belt from Georgi Karakhanyan.

The main card, which featured three title fights in all, aired on NBC Sports Network.

In the main event, Branch submitted Jesse Taylor in the first round after locking up a D’arce choke less than two minutes in. The two had advanced to the tournament final to meet for the inaugural belt.

Glenn scored a TKO victory on the advice of the cageside doctor after the second round. “The Gladiator” appeared to have Karakhanyan finished in the second, but the champion survived the final onslaught.

Jessica Aguilar defeated Emi Fujino to defend her female strawweight title, earning a decision victory. In other main card action, Luiz Firmino defeated Tyson Griffin and Lance Palmer submitted Nick Lobosco.
