Ryan Bader wasn’t in the “calling-out” kind of mood following his win Saturday night at UFC 174. But one fighter – who happened to compete on the same card – caught his attention.

Ovince St. Preux defeated Ryan Jimmo in the pay-per-view opener, taking down one of Bader’s fellow teammates. The former Ultimate Fighter winner topped Rafael Cavalcante later in the night.

“I don’t know….OSP,” said Bader, during his FOX Sports 1 post-fight interview. “He’s been on one of the biggest winning streaks in the division. He just beat one of my teammates, so I guess I should get some revenge.”

St. Preux, a former college standout on the gridiron, actually is second in the light heavyweight division with four consecutive UFC wins. He trails only champion Jon Jones on that list.

As for Bader and his own performance, “Darth” decided ahead of time that he needed to showcase his wrestling skills once again.

“I wanted to get back to my roots,” said the former Arizona State University standout. “I started to fall in love with my hands, but I needed to get back to my wrestling.

“I knew I had to make it an ugly fight, wear him down and make him feel like he didn’t want to be in there.”
