Former Strikeforce champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal made some derogatory comments towards Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney Saturday night during both the pay-per-view broadcast and the post-fight interview following his bout with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

However, when Lawal was asked at the post-fight press conference about his words, he went quiet.

“No comment, it’s squashed,” Lawal said, after Bellator 120. “I don’t wanna talk about it.”

Lawal sat right next to Rebney throughout the press conference, and the two did not discuss anything in private during it. He was forced to interject when Lawal and Jackson started jaw-jacking and taking over the microphone.

Jackson earned the decision, but both seem to be interested in a rematch. Rebney did not state what they would do, as Jackson is now lined up to fight Emanuel Newton for the belt due to his tournament title win.

Rebney was asked how he scored the fight, saying, “I scored it the way the judges scored it,” to which a loud reaction from the people gathered in the presser reacted.

“It was a tough one to call,” he added. “You had to watch the third real close….but I scored it the way the judges scored it.”
