The UFC will return to Brazil in both September and October, as officials confirmed with multiple sources that events are planned in the country.
First up will be a Fight Night card on September 13 from Brasilia, which was confirmed by MMAFighting.com. The event will take place inside the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium, which seats 16,000 fans.
UFC 179 will see the promotion return on October 25 for a pay-per-view card from Rio de Janeiro and the Maracanazinho Gymnasium, not the HSBC Arena as before. That event was first reported by Tatame.
Two UFC events have already been held in Brazil, while The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale is scheduled for May 31.
No fights were reported for either of the future cards.
