Shayna Baszler’s Octagon debut will have some added importance, as the alum of The Ultimate Fighter will meet Bethe Correia at UFC 176: Aldo vs. Mendes 2.

Officials confirmed the fight on Monday, adding it to an announced main event between UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes. The event takes place August 2 from Los Angeles and the Staples Center.

Baszler (15-8) will be trying to exact revenge on the Brazilian, who defeated her “Four Horsewomen” teammate Jessamyn Duke last month via decision. Baszler was scheduled to meet Sarah Kaufman in her debut, but an injury knocked her out.

Throughout her career, Baszler has faced off against the likes of title contender Alexis Davis, Tara LaRosa, Cris Cyborg, Julie Kedzie and Kaufman. She defeated Davis back in 2010, but lost a rematch to her in 2013 as part of Invicta FC.

Correia (8-0) became public enemy No. 1 of the group when she beat Duke and proceeded to hold up four fingers – the hand sign for the group. She dropped one finger, leaving three up for Baszler, UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir. Shafir is not signed to the UFC at the moment.

So far, these are the only two bouts announced to date for the event.
