With just a few days to spare, the UFC has been forced to repair damages done to UFC 172.

Set for this Saturday from Baltimore, the card has been hit by the injury bug, as Bobby Green was forced out of a planned lightweight scrap with Jim Miller. The promotion confirmed previous reports that Yancy Medeiros will move from a prelim fight with Joe Ellenberger and meet Miller on the pay-per-view main card now.

Medeiros (9-1) is winless since a 2010 knockout victory over Gareth Joseph in Strikeforce. He lost his UFC debut to Rustam Khabilov after an injury last year, and his win over Yves Edwards in November was reversed to a no-contest after a failed post-fight drug test.

As for Ellenberger, he is expected to remain on the card alongside his brother, facing the returning Vagner Rocha. Rocha (11-3) went 1-2 in his previous run with the company before being released. He has won his last four fights.

Green offered an explanation for his decision to exit the fight with Miller, posting a picture of his damaged ankle on Twitter.
