Thiago Alves will finally return to the Octagon this Saturday when he meets Seth Baczynski at UFC on FOX 11 from Orlando. While he has been recovering from injuries, Alves hasn’t stopped fighting.

But, instead of doing his work in the cage, he’s been reaching out to stop animal abuse through his work with PETA.

“It’s a very coward move to put dogs to fight against one another,” Alves said. “It’s not their choice. They don’t want to fight. They just want to survive and have fun like everybody else.”
