Injuries continue to cause havoc for Titan Fighting Championship, forcing the promotion to delay Titan FC 28.

Originally scheduled for April 25, the card will now go down May 16. It also received a new home, moving from Kansas City to Newkirk, Oklahoma and the First Council Casino Hotel.

The main event remains the same, as Raphael Davis will battle Jason Brilz. In the co-main, Dave Herman takes on Kalib Starnes.

“The postponement was three fold,” Titan FC CEO Jeff Aronson told FightLine. “One, I refused to put out a sub-par card, and with three more fighters getting hurt this weekend, I needed time to make the card up to our standards.

“Two, we are now doing a two-and-a-half-hour show with six televised fights. Three, needed a couple more weeks to integrate Titan FC into their system. This now enables Titan to reach a massive audience for our live stream both national and international.”

Other bouts include Gilbert Smith-Brian Foster and Walt Harris-D.J. Linderman.

The main card airs on CBS Sports Network, with prelims streaming online at
