World Series of Fighting officials capitalized on having the weekend MMA spotlight to themselves following WSOF 9 Saturday night, announcing plans for the next three cards.

At WSOF 10 on June 21, featherweight champion Georgi Karakhanyan will defend his title against Rick Glenn and David Branch will meet Jesse Taylor for the inaugural middleweight crown.

The event will take place from San Jose State University and the Event Center, airing on NBC Sports Network.

The following month, newly-crowned welterweight champion Rousimar Palhares will defend his title against Jon Fitch at WSOF 11 in a battle of ex-UFC fighters.

Palhares downed Steve Carl Saturday night, while Fitch is coming off a victory over Marcelo Alfaya last October.

WSOF 11 will take place sometime in July and air on NBC Sports Network. In the co-main, unbeaten lightweight champion Justin Gaethje is scheduled to meet unbeaten Nick Newell, while Tyrone Spong is also slated for action.

The promotion is planning to head to Japan for WSOF 12 in August with another former UFC title contender, Yushin Okami, competing in the headline fight. Exact plans for who Okami will fight were not made known.

The card will go down August 2 from Tokyo and is expected to air on NBC Sports Network.
