Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza recently agreed to a new deal with the UFC.

Now, he wants to schedule his next fight.

Souza told Tatame that he hopes to face the winner of April’s Michael Bisping-Tim Kennedy bout at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale in Canada.

“I believe I will be ready to fight again in August and will be the best ‘Jacare’ that has ever appeared in the Octagon,” he said. “I want to fight the winner to get closer to a title shot.”

Souza (20-3) is a perfect 3-0 inside the Octagon and has won six straight since a 2011 decision loss to Luke Rockhold for the Strikeforce title.

Since entering the UFC, he has finished Chris Camozzi and Yushin Okami, and started 2014 off with a decision over Francis Carmont.

Souza also offered up his thoughts on the Bisping-Kennedy fight, but stated he doesn’t “have a pick (to win).”

“Bisping moves very well and is a dangerous guy,” he said. “Kennedy is very strong, has heavy hands and an unusual game. He also has very good wrestling.”
