Bellator featherweight champion Daniel Straus hit the scale a half-pound over for his title fight with Pat Curran at Bellator 112 Thursday during weigh-ins.

Straus has been given two hours to make weight. He even shaved off his deadlocks in an attempt to reach the 145-pound maximum.

Curran had no problems, weighing in at 144.7 pounds.

UPDATE: Straus hit 145 pounds on his second weigh-in attempt, meaning the title fight is now official for Friday night.

All of the season 10 welterweight quarterfinal fighters weighed in successfully.
