Due to a series of issues with medical conditions, War Machine, Joe Riggs and Mark Scanlon have all been removed from next Friday’s Bellator 112 card.

Instead, the planned Paul Bradley-Nathan Coy bout has been inserted into the eight-man welterweight tournament, while Cristiano Souza has gained the final opening.

Action is set for March 14 from Indiana. In the main event, Daniel Straus faces Pat Curran for the featherweight title.

Bradley, a former University of Iowa standout wrestler, is coming off a key decision victory over Karl Amoussou last October that improved his record to 21-5 overall.

“I am very happy for the opportunity, as it has always been my goal to become a world champion after signing with Bellator,” Bradley told FightLine. “This tournament will be no easy feat, but I am on the right path.”

We’ll have more on Bradley later this week on FightLine.

The main card for Bellator 112 airs on Spike TV, while the prelims, which will feature the Bradley-Coy bout, stream live on Spike.com.
