Cormier Destroys Cummins

Daniel Cormier did not fall into the biggest trap fight of his career tonight when he faced former training partner Patrick Cummins. While an argument could be made that the bout was over when it was signed, the real factor of this fight was Cummins simply not being on the level of Cormier at this stage of his MMA career.

What’s Next?

Cormier wants a title fight at 205 and he is certainly in the top four of that division. If anyone is injured ahead of Jones/Teixeira, he could get his wish. If anyone is injured while defending/winning the title in that fight, Cormier could see the winner of Gustafsson and Manuwa.
