Former UFC fighters are coming to the forefront in protest of the promotion they once worked for.

Much the the NFL is being forced into a corner in defense mode on the subject of concussions, the UFC is hearing complaints from all sides.

While there has been little talk from those currently employed, the number of messages being posted on social media sites from former fighters is growing.

Add Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock to that list.

Ortiz wrote on Twitter, “the walls are starting to cave in! Such a shame. The cat is out of the bag. Wonder who has the guts to tell the truth. Reap what u sow!”

It didn’t take Shamrock, someone who seems to always be there to follow Ortiz now, long to reply, posting, “they treat the fighters like slaves. The minute you stand up for yourself you are an outcast. Enough is enough.”

Nate Quarry, another former UFC fighter, posted on The Underground a lengthy tirade against the company. He claimed that the UFC “cares nothing about the fighters and only cares about the bottom line.”
