Olympian Sara McMann Not Concerned With Ronda Rousey’s Resume

Sara McMann has competed on the big stage before, securing a silver medal at the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics in wrestling.

So, when she steps inside the Octagon in under two weeks to face Ronda Rousey at UFC 170 for the UFC female bantamweight title, McMann won’t be overly stressed.

“She’s just another opponent,” said McMann, during a recent interview with Inside MMA. “I look at it the same way and I think that’s to my benefit.

“I just go out there and train hard and treat her like an opponent with skills in this area and deficits in this area.”

McMann (7-0) won gold medals at a pair of Pan American Games and scored a TKO over Sheila Gaff in her Octagon debut last year.

Mcman should be. Rousys armbared everyone else with ease.and her stand up is improving big time. If she becomes champ id sayits not gonna be through roysy. Cyborg was the only one I thought would be able to do it but at this point id say I cant see anyone really beating her. Cat zigano maybe but to get those knees through she needs to be close. So one throw will set up her groumd game.
