The UFC has signed Douglas Lima, a 22-0 fighter, to replace Thiago Tavares and face Zubair Tuhugov next weekend at UFC Fight Night 36.

Combate first reported the news out of Brazil, which has since been confirmed by the UFC, where the card goes down February 15. In the main event, Lyoto Machida squares off with Gegard Mousasi.

Silva (22-0) owns 17 career knockout finishes. He was scheduled to compete for the Jungle Fight bantamweight title, but will take this bout at featherweight.

Tuhogov (15-3) is on a six-fight win streak and has six stoppage victories to his credit.

The Tavares-Tuhogov bout was scheduled to kickoff the FOX Sports 1 main card. It remains unknown if Silva-Tuhogov will still occupy that spot, or if changes will come.
