UFC officials have confirmed a previously reported rematch between Dan Henderson and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

UFC Fight Night 38 will take place March 23 from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. That date is a Sunday, a day later than most events put on by the promotion.

Henderson (29-11) will be trying to make it two in a row over Rua (22-8), a former UFC light heavyweight champion. Back in 2011, “Hendo” scored a decision victory over Rua in a bout many viewed as the “Fight of the Year.”

Since that time, though, Henderson has struggled. He suffered decision losses to Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida before being finished by Vitor Belfort – also in Brazil.

Rua recovered from back-to-back defeats at the hands of Chael Sonnen and Alexnader Gustafsson by stopping James Te Huna to close out 2013.

MMAFighting.com confirmed three new fights for the event, as Thiago Perpetuo faces Kenny Robertson, Norman Parke takes on Leonardo Santos and Gleison Tibau faces Mairbek Taisumov.
