Jason High went ahead and announced his new opponent for January’s UFC Fight Night 35 card, despite the fact that UFC officials have yet to remove Adlan Amagov from the scheduled bout.

Previous reports cited that Amagov suffered an injury and would not make the January 15 event from Georgia.

On Twitter Friday, High (18-4) announced his new opponent as Beneil Dariush.

High posted a 2-1 mark with the UFC, defeating James Head and Anthony Lapsley after falling to Erick Silva.

Dariush is 6-0 in his MMA career and will be making his Octagon debut.
