A possible UFC flyweight title-eliminator could be headed for UFC 169, as MMABoxing is reporting Ali Bagautinov and John Lineker will compete at the February 1 event.

The card, set for February 1 from Newark, New Jersey, currently features title bouts between UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and interim champion Renan Barao. Also, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo takes on Ricardo Lamas.

Both Bagautinov and Linker are ranked inside the UFC’s Top-10 at 125 pounds.

Bagautinov (12-2) has earned a pair of wins since joining the UFC over Tim Elliott and Marcos Vinicius, while Lineker (23-6) has finished each of his past three foes.

For Lineker, though, weight has been an issue. He has missed the mark three times in five fights, and recently decided to bring in Mike Dolce to help him.
