Dana White on Georges St-Pierre Behavior, Bad Judging, and More

UFC President Dana White has never been afraid of expressing his opinion and did so passionately this past Saturday night after judges awarded welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre a Split Decision win at UFC 167 despite the majority of onlookers feeling as though contender Johny Hendricks deserved a Unanimous nod. White had a chance to elaborate on his comments about the incompetence involved with Nevada’s athletic commission on this week’s episode of UFC Tonight, also talking to hosts Kenny Florian and Chael Sonnen about his reaction to St-Pierre’s decision to unexpectedly take time off after the closely-contested loss. I don’t necessarily see a year and a half off rehabbing and having surgery as a vacation. GSP has a right to do what he wants, when he wants. He could retire and no one could say a thing. The guy has personal issues to deal with… Cut him some slack. Besides, GSP had decided against saying anything until Rogan put him on the spot. Everyone wants to knoe why George’s has to say until he says it.
