UFC welterweight Johny Hendricks has developed a reputation over the past few years as one of the most feared strikers in the division despite his background as a wrestler. Hendricks’ rise to status as a slugger came as the result of numerous knockouts in the Octagon including those over Amir Sadollah, Martin Kampmann, and Jon Fitch. Tonight, at UFC 167, Hendricks will test his skill-set against the best 170er to ever grace the cage – champion Georges St-Pierre – in hopes of showing it’s time for a changing of the guard. The bearded brawler recently spoke with UFC.com about the tilt, getting some tips from boxing legend Mike Tyson on how to beat GSP, dealing with the pressure of taking on an all-time great, and much more.
