UFC president Dana White has a matchmaker to take care of the light heavyweight division in Joe Silva.

What he doesn’t need, is current division champion Jon Jones trying to take on that task, as well.

Recently. Jones made it known that he doesn’t think Alexander Gustafsson and other contenders are being paired up against each other. Instead, it is “Bones” who has to take out everybody to defend his belt.

“Jon, I love you, but you’re not a matchmaker,” said White, during a recent post-fight interview. “Fight your fight. He’ll fight his fight and don’t worry about it.”

Current plans have Gustafsson facing Jimi Manuwa at UFC Fight Night in March, while Jones defends his belt against Glover Teixeira sometime in early 2014. Wins by both would set forth a rematch between the two.
