UFC bantamweight T.J. Dillashaw showed a lot of promise during his time on TUF 14 despite eventually falling to John Dodson in a divisional final. However, Dillashaw has proven himself to be every bit the potential title-contender fans saw in the making with a quartet of consecutive victories since the stumble including finishes in his last three fights. The 27-year old has a chance to move into the discussion for a crack at the championship this weekend when he faces Raphael Assuncao at UFC Fight Night 29, another man currently riding the momentum of a solid winning streak. Dillashaw recently spoke to UFC.com about the match-up and his career in general, expressing both confidence in his ability to win AND be ready to fight again before year’s end.
