There’s never a good time for an injury to occur when it comes to the career of a Mixed Martial Artist. Likewise, fans have become accustomed to health-related woes forcing fighters to the sidelines. However, it’s hard not to feel bad for UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano. The unbeaten finisher landed the biggest opportunity of her career last April by putting Miesha Tate away with strikes, landing a spot opposite champion Ronda Rousey on TUF 18 leading up to a title-fight on New Year’s Eve Weekend. Sadly, Zingano’s joy would turn to disappointment after tearing her ACL in training on the cusp of the Ultimate Fighter firing up. She recently offered an update on her condition through UFC Tonight, also taking time to give some thoughts on Tate/Rousey. (Photos by USA Today Sports Images)
