With this being “fight day” in the UFC, that can mean one of two things.

A win can push you into a bout one step closer to your dream of being a champion.

While a loss might just mean the end of the line.

For six fighters, that happened recently, as the promotion has removed Roger Gracie, Dave Herman, Ednaldo Oliveira, Bristol Marunde, John Maguire and Vinny Magalhaes from their official websites roster.

The releases were first reported by Bloody Elbow, though nothing has been made official from the UFC yet. However, in the past, when a fighter has had their name taken off the site, it has meant they were cut.

All of the fighters were defeated in their most recent action. Magalhaes, in fact, stated he would retire from the sport if he was cut a second time.
