Count former Strikeforce middleweight contender Tim Kennedy as one of those fighters willing to step in against anyone, anytime.

After reports circulated that the UFC had offered Nick Diaz a match with Lyoto Machida, Kennedy wanted to make sure the promotion knows if Diaz isn’t willing, he is.

“Lyoto is moving down to middleweight in the UFC?!?!?!” Kennedy posted. “I currently have a spot open on my dance card and would love to boggie.”

Machida has contemplated a run at 185 pounds for several years, but always remained at 205 because friend Anderson Silva was the champion. Now, following a loss to Phil Davis, “The Dragon” seems more pressed to switch divisions.

Kennedy claimed a win over Roger Gracie earlier this year in his Octagon debut. He was also briefly linked to a fight with Vitor Belfort before “The Phenom” turned it down.
