They say “Everything is bigger in Texas”, but it’s the UFC‘s little men who will look to steal the show when the promotion sets up shop in Houston for an October 16 event. According to an official announcement, flyweights John Dodson and Darrell Montague will mix it up at UFC 166 on the preliminary portion of the card.
The 14-6 Dodson hasn’t seen action since a hard-fought loss to champion Demetrious Johnson in January. Prior to the defeat he’d won five straight scraps including success against John Moraga, T.J. Dillashaw, and Jussier da Silva.
Montague (13-2) is a newcomer with five TKOs and five submissions to his credit. He is currently on a four-fight run including three stoppages in the bunch.
