UFC featherweight Chan Sung Jung’s attempt at securing a comeback win against champion Jose Aldo was stopped short after “The Korean Zombie” separated his shoulder in the fourth frame of their fight at UFC 163. Now, it appears Jung’s return to the Octagon will prolonged.

According to a report from FOX Sports, the 26-year old Jung also suffered a broken orbital bone this past weekend and will be out longer than anticipated as a result. He was initially handed a six-month medical suspension only shortened in the instance of a doctor’s approval. No specifics were offered in terms of Jung’s comeback though similar injuries have kept fighters out for up to a year.

Jung’s record was dropped to 13-4 with the loss to Aldo. Unfortunately, he also missed fifteen months of action leading up to the match-up based on other health-related issues.
