There’s a saying about things being bigger in Texas and when it comes to the October 19 lineup for UFC 166 the phrase certainly seems to ring true. Already featuring heavyweight contests between Daniel Cormier-Roy Nelson and Cain Velasquez-Junior dos Santos, the Houston-bound card also appears to have a bout featuring Gabriel Gonzaga against Shawn Jordan.

Gonzaga’s camp confirmed the news on his team’s website.

“Napao” is 15-7 with finishes in each of his victories. He has also won four of his last five fights with the most recent including a seventeen-second drumming of Dave Herman at UFC 162.

The 15-4 Jordan has strung together back-to-back triumphs since a loss to Cheick Kongo, stopping Mike Russow and Pat Barry with strikes. Eleven of his wins have come by way of TKO.
