A bantamweight bout between T.J. Dillashaw and Raphael Assuncao has been put together for the UFC’s September stop in Brazil. Both men are on four-fight winning streaks, meaning the individual who comes out triumphant in their UFC on FS 3 tilt should take a major step closer to challenging for divisional gold.

Globo was first to report the rumble’s addition to the September 4 show. The card is headlined by a light heavyweight match-up featuring Glover Teixeira-Ryan Bader.

In addition to quartet of consecutive victories in the Octagon, Dillashaw has also scored stoppages against his last three opponents including two of the first-frame variety. He is 8-1 in his career.

Assuncao holds an overall record of 20-4 including notable triumphs against Yves Jabouin and Mike Easton. Ten of his wins have come via submission.
