The lineup for UFC on FOX 8 took a few hits today thanks to the infamous injury bug. In addition to losing a bout between Brendan Schaub-Matt Mitrione and seeing Bobby Green go down in training, Siyar Bahadurzada has also withdrawn from a rumble with Robbie Lawler for health-related reasons. While Schaub’s match-up with Mitrione was scrapped completely, Green and Bahadurzada have both been replaced by Tim Means and Bobby Voelker respectively.

UFC officials have confirmed the changes. Bahadurzada himself was a fill-in, taking Tarec Saffiedine‘s spot under similar circumstances.

Voelker lost a decision to Patrick Cote in his UFC debut after picking up three straight wins in Strikeforce. He holds an overall record of 24-9 and should be down to slug it out with the heavy-handed Lawler based on having fifteen TKOs to his credit.

Means, who faces Danny Castillo on the preliminary portion of the July 27 card, is 18-4-1 including thirteen submissions. The 29-year old saw a nine-fight winning streak snapped in April when he fell on the scorecards to Jorge Masvidal at UFC on FOX 7.
