Bellator’s welterweight division is officially on notice, as British bomber Paul Daley recently revealed his legal woes have been handled and he should be cleared to travel overseas for competition in the coming months. Daley had been dealing with an assault charge since December and was unable to obtain a visa as a result. However, it turns out there was nothing substantial to the allegations against him.

“The case was thrown out, lack of evidence and contradicting witness accounts. I’m extremely happy,” Daley explained in a quick conversation with Bleacher Report. “Applying for my P-1 visa as we speak and hope to return to the USA and Bellator later this year.”

Despite his Bellator career being shelved, Daley was still able to secure two tilts during his ordeal and won both by way of knockout. He holds an overall record of 32-12-2 with 23 TKOs to his credit.
