UFC 161 Weigh-In Results: Card good to go after all fighters make weight

At the risk of jinxing the event’s participants, it appears the lineup for UFC 161 is finally set in stone and the injury bug has found other fighters to prey upon. And, though the show lost notable tilts between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira-Mauricio Rua and Eddie Wineland-Renan Barao, the headlining bout between Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans is certainly enough to get fans stoked about the show to come.

Before any of the evening’s competitors take to the Octagon they had to step on the scale first and hit their required marks. Fortunately, all did and the card has been given an official green light.

Just got back from watching these live, Roy Nelson is over like a beast here in Winnipeg. I also must say Brittney Palmer is about a 1000 times more beautiful in person.

  • MCM says:

Nelson in at 260! Did he even train for this fight? I got a bad feeling bout this one.

  • AlphaOmega says:

That is the biggest he’s come in for awhile, but he did take the fight on short notice, so hopefully he’s not looking at Miocic as an easy fight
