UFC flyweight Ian McCall entered the promotion with status as the top 125er in Mixed Martial Arts. However, three fights later McCall is still seeking his first win inside the Octagon. Though not officially confirmed, “Uncle Creepy” will attempt to change that statistic on August 3 when he heads to Brazil for UFC 163 and squares off against Illarde Santos.

Regional outlet UOL was first to report the fight.

McCall is 11-4-1 in his career and had won four straight before signing with the UFC. Though he looked sharp in his debut, taking champion Demetrious Johnson to a Draw, he has dropped decisions in subsequent showings against Johnson and Joseph Benavidez. Seven of his wins have featured some form of stoppage.

Santos accepted a bout with bantamweight Yuri Alcantara last month on short notice and suffered a knockout loss. He holds an overall record of 27-7-1 with twelve submissions and six TKOs to his credit.

UFC 163 is headlined by a featherweight title-fight between Jose Aldo-Anthony Pettis. Also scheduled to rumble in Rio are the likes of Demian Maia-Josh Koscheck and Lyoto Machida-Phil Davis.
