After years of training some of the UFC’s best and brightest, light heavyweight grappler Robert Drysdale will finally showcase his own skills inside the Octagon when UFC 163 rolls around on August 3. The brilliant BJJer has been signed to square off against Ednaldo Oliveira at the summer show.

UFC officials confirmed the bout this week along with a match-up involving bantamweight females Amanda Nunes-Sheila Gaff. The card is set to unfold in Rio de Janeiro and will feature Jose Aldo-Anthony Pettis in the headlining slot.

Not surprisingly, the 6-0 Drysdale has submitted all of the opponents he’s faced thus far since deciding to give it a go in the cage. He last outing occurred in April where he took out Bellator veteran D.J. Linderman with a Rear-Naked Choke less than two minutes into the tilt. Meanwhile, Oliveira is 13-1-1 but hasn’t fought since falling to Gabriel Gonzaga in his UFC debut nearly 18 months ago.

Both Nunes (7-3) and Gaff (10-5-1) can boast finishes in each of their victories.
