FOX Sports 1 will be hosting two live UFC events in August and, by all accounts, each appears to be full of potential when it comes to producing a slew of entertaining efforts. Already set to feature a rematch between welterweights Carlos Condit-Martin Kampmann in the main event, UFC on FOX Sports 2 received a co-headlining clash this week in the form of lightweight scrappers Donald Cerrone-Rafael dos Anjos.

UFC officials have confirmed the bout’s addition to the August 28 lineup.

Cerrone is 3-1 in his last four fights including a recent outpointing of K.J. Noons. He is 20-5 in his career with thirteen submission wins notched on his record and past victories over the likes of Melvin Guillard, Jeremy Stephens, and Jamie Varner.

The 19-6 Dos Anjos has silently strung together a quartet of consecutive wins. Like Cerrone, the 28-year old Brazilian owns triumphs over a few notable names such as Evan Dunham, Mark Bocek, and George Sotiropoulos.
