If you’re a MMA fan of Irish heritage living in Boston it’s time to pour a pint of Guinness and get your green, white, and orange flag ready to fly. As expected, UFC featherweight Conor McGregor has been booked for a bout at UFC on FS 1.

According to UFC officials, McGregor will meet Englishman Andy Ogle on the preliminary portion of the August 17 event. The card is still without a main event but set to feature fights such as Thiago Alves-Matt Brown, Joe Lauzon-Michael Johnson, and Alistair Overeem-Travis Browne.

McGregor impressed in his Octagon unveiling earlier this year, stopping Marcus Brimage with strikes a little more than a minute into their match-up. The Dublin native is 13-2 in his career with twelve wins by way of knockout.

The 24-year old Ogle is a scrappy TUF veteran with a 9-2 record including five finishes. He was last seen picking up a decision win over Josh Grispi.
