Bellator officials recently bolstered the roster with the signing of three new fighters who hail from the United Kingdom including UFC veteran Paul Sass. The lightweight is known for his slick submission stylings and even has a patented version of the Triangle Choke known as the “Sassangle”.

Sass picked up three wins in the UFC including finishes of Michael Johnson/Jacob Volkmann before falling short in his last two tilts and subsequently being released as a result. He holds an overall record of 13-2 with twelve wins by way of tap-out.

Along with Sass, Martin Stapleton (12-1) and Rob Sinclair (12-2) were brought on board for future fights under the Bellator banner.

Also noteworthy, CEO Bjorn Rebney confirmed the company’s desire to make “Bellator an every week televised occurrence in the UK” after referring to other British fighters under contract such as Michael Page, Ronnie Mann, and Paul Daley.
