Lauren_TaylorThe lineup for Invicta FC 5 got a slight adjustment today after the organization revealed bantamweight Amanda Nunes had withdraw from a fight with Kaitlin Young due to an undisclosed injury. Interestingly enough, Nunes (7-3) is one of eleven women officially signed to a UFC contract.

Fortunately, Invicta FC didn’t waste any time finding a replacement, signing Alaskan striker Lauren Taylor to fill the vacancy. News of the change was announced by way of a press release to media.

Taylor is 5-0 in her career with knockouts in all of her wins. She recently made her return to the ring earlier this month after an extended absence from competition, stopping her foe in the opening round.

The 7-7-1 Young has six TKOs of her own including an unforgettable head-kick of Miesha Tate back in 2007.

In addition to Taylor-Young, the April 5 event also features action from Zoila Gurgel, Sarah Kaufman, and Cristiane Santos as well as a main event between Jessica Penne-Michelle Waterson.
