Dana WhiteTonight is the SpikeTV debut of Bellator MMA (formerly Bellator Fighting Championships), and I don’t know about you, but the mood here in my household is one of eager anticipation. Okay, not really. My wife and five-year-old daughter don’t care about Bellator. But I do, and I’m excited to see what tweaks Bellator boss Bjorn Rebney and SpikeTV executive Kevin Kay have done to the number-two MMA organization in the world.  Will there be lava? A gyrating platform with spikes? Whips? I don’t know! I only know about this morning’s news!

  • Joe Rocha of CagedInsider is out in the field snagging video interviews. Give him some love. This one features UFC top middleweight contender Chris Weidman.
  • Tweeting is just like fighting. Fighters either do it well, or they absolutely suck at it.
