With less than ten days to go before the UFC’s year-end extravaganza on December 29, the organization has been able to find a replacement for Cody McKenzie in a match-up with Leonard Garcia after the submission-specialist went down with an injury this past week. Stepping into the vacancy at UFC 155 will be Max Holloway.

UFC officials have confirmed the change.

The 6-1 Holloway, who also happens to be the youngest fighter on the UFC’s roster, is coming off back-to-back wins in the Octagon. He was last seen starching Justin Lawrence this past August at UFC 150.

Garcia has been a fan-favorite for years thanks to his exciting, though not necessarily successful, efforts inside the Octagon. He holds an overall record of 15-9-1 with some respectable victories to his credit including those over Jens Pulver and Chan Sung Jung.
