In a move sure to make regional fans happy, the UFC has added a clash between welterweights Dong Hyun Kim and Siyar Bahadurzada to the organization’s stop in Japan on March 3 for UFC on Fuel 8. Both men are coming off wins over Paulo Thiago, though Bahadurzada’s came in the form of a statement with a sub-minute mashing of the always-game Brazilian.

UFC officials revealed the match-up along with the rest of the bouts scheduled to take place at Saitama Super Arena.

The 16-2-1 Kim, a star in South Korea, hasn’t fought in the Far East since 2007 and should receive a warm reception come showtime. Among the opponents he’s taken out since joining the UFC are the likes of Matt Brown, Amir Sadollah, and Nate Diaz.

Bahadurzada hasn’t fought since taking out Thiago this past April in his UFC debut. He holds an overall record of 24-4-1 including wins in his last seven scraps and seventeen stoppages.

The UFC on Fuel 8 card as announced thus far is…
