Like the rest of the MMA world, renowned trainer Greg Jackson is awaiting word from UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre regarding his next move. However, Jackson’s relationship with GSP is obviously different than the vast majority of interested parties considering he’s one of the talented title-holder’s chief coaches.

While Jackson isn’t sure if St-Pierre will opt for a super-fight with Anderson Silva, settle a personal score with Nick Diaz, or defend his belt against deserving contender Johny Hendricks, he is paying one particular scenario a bit more attention than the others.

“I don’t know. There’s certainly some really tough guys out there,” began Jackson when asked about St-Pierre’s future in an interview on Inside MMA.

“I’ll tell you who we’ve got our eye on – Hendricks. The guy has a big bomb, good wrestling, and I think he’s gonna pose a lot of problems,” Jackson continued before deferring back to St-Pierre’s role in the matter. “It’s all up to GSP and what he decides.”

Thus far St-Pierre has stayed tight-lipped on his plans. He is currently on vacation but is expected to be in Seattle this weekend to support TriStar teammate Rory MacDonald at UFC on FOX 5, after which he will reportedly talk to his team about what he wants to do.
