UFC welterweight Matt Riddle seemed to have his sights set on a showdown with one of his British counterparts, calling out Dan Hardy a few weeks back before more recently agreeing to action against John Hathaway on Twitter. However, it appears he won’t be facing either man in his next outing though he will still get a crack at a competitor from across the pond.

According to Fighters Only, Riddle will mix it up with Che Mills on February 16 at UFC on Fuel 7. The card is scheduled to take place in London, meaning the 26-year old will be far from a favorite inside the arena come showtime.

The 7-3 Riddle is coming off a win over the UK’s John Maguire. The victory would have been his third straight had he not tested positive for marijuana use after a July match-up.

Meanwhile, Mills holds an overall record of 15-5 including two instances of success inside the Octagon. Twelve of his wins have involved some form of finish including eight strike-based stoppages.

No other bouts have been attached to the February lineup.
