Oft-troubled fighter War Machine (i.e. Jon Koppenhaver) is out of jail again after seemingly having his life turned around only to end up paying the price for an old assault case. The 30-year old’s status was confirmed over the weekend by manager Ken Pavia who Tweeted a picture of the recently freed fighter.

Machine’s latest stint in the clink came six months after a year-long stint behind bars for a separate assault charge. In the short span between the two, he picked up a TKO win over Roger Huerta, setting himself up to face Karl Amoussou in the opening round of a Bellator tournament before once again being incarcerated.

The Ultimate Fighter 6 alumnus is 12-4 in his career with all of his wins involving some form of finish. Though he hasn’t officially announced his plans, it seems likely Machine will make a return to the ring at some point soon while hoping his third shot at a MMA career truly turns out to be the charm.
