24-year old heavyweight Stefan Struve is on the cusp of contendership after stringing together a quartet of consecutive victories with each featuring some form of finish. Fresh off a knockout of previously unbeaten Stipe Miocic, Struve sees himself as a win or two away from challenging for the title and already has designs on a few foes who are all coming off impressive victories of their own as well.

Specifically, the seven-footer wants to face Fabricio Werdum, Antonio Silva, or even Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

“I think they are great challenges for me,” said Sturve in an interview with TATAME. “A win over Silva, Werdum or ‘Minotauro’ should put me closer to achieving my biggest goal.”

All three of the Brazilians were last seen stopping their opponents with Silva taking out Travis Browne via TKO, Werdum beating Mike Russow with strikes, and Nogueira submitting Dave Herman. With a card headed to the South American hotbed of MMA in mid-January, and all three men relatively healthy and currently available, it seems likely Struve may get his wish with the added backdrop of Brazil to boot.
