Invicta FC 3 set for free stream this Saturday night, change made to Julia Budd bout

After two wildly successful shows Invicta FC will attempt to live up to high expectations this coming weekend when Invicta FC 3 unfolds from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. Fortunately, fans will still have a chance to watch all the action for free, as the organization has announced a live stream will be made available through their website featuring all of the evening’s efforts.

“We are thrilled to once again be able to showcase an entire night of world-class women’s professional MMA action live to a global audience,” stated Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp in a press release confirming the matter.

Things will start up on Saturday night at 7:00 PM EST with the lineup featuring a total of fourteen fights. A title-bout between atomweights Jessica Penne-Naho Sugiyama will serve as the main event with a number of other notable pairings poised to take place including appearances from Cat Zingano, Shayna Baszler, Aisling Daly, and Kaitlin Young.

Also revealed in the company’s statement was a change to the card, as Elaina Maxwell has been forced to pull out of a scheduled scrap with Julia Budd due to injury. She will be replaced by Danielle West.

If SPIKE TV was smart they would jump on this promotion for 2013 as well… Isn’t Viacom a majority owner of Bellator at this point? So it’s not like Bellator has to be the one and only exclusive mma promotion on the channel… I’m sure they could work something out and also exchange WMMA talent aswell when needed.

Bellator and Invicta on Spike would be HUGE.
